In larger airports or hubs it is necessary for bags to be unloaded sorted and reloaded into outbound flights. In some cases it is done manually via tug or cart from Aircraft tail to tail. In other cases unloaded bags are loaded onto belt conveyors, and in some cases screened, then sorted to various make-up devices.
