In a post September 11, 2001 world, United States airports are making drastic changes to the processing of checked in bags. As a founding member of the design group for the Transportation Security Administration, Vanderlande Industries has remained involved through the multiple revisions of the Planning Guidelines and Design Standards for Checked Baggage Inspection Systems. This involvement has allowed Vanderlande Industries to be on the forefront of execution of screening systems in some of the largest airports in the United States. Its “first time right” testing is unmatched in the industry.

Boston Logan Airport
In December of 2002 Vanderlande Industries US Inc., was awarded a contract for a new turnkey baggage handling system at Logan International’s Terminal A.
